hrystle received her degree in communications from Boston University and then wondered what to do with it. Advertising? Radio? Television? Film? Magazine Writing? Copywriting? How about all of the above! Chrystle had her first professional writing gig at a popular rock radio station on the East End of Long Island before jumping over to a boutique advertising agency working with clients like Scrabble. She then flexed her communication muscles and moved 3,000 miles away to Los Angeles and found work in television production and sitcom and film writing. While there, she worked with Harry Thomason and Linda-Bloodworth-Thomason on their successful shows Designing Women and Evening Shade. Chrystle also landed a spot in the prestigious Warner Bros. Writer’s Workshop, which led to work on a Warner Bros. pilot script, Diamond Lane and narration for the children’s film, The Giant of Thunder Mountain. Longing to return to the East Coast to be close to family and friends and create her own business, Chrystle reinvented herself once again and made the switch to magazine and copywriting when she opened Chrystle Content in Greenport, Long Island, New York in 1999. It’s the best decision she ever made!
Whether it’s an article or copy, Chrystle is a big-picture thinker who never loses sight of the details on writing projects that matter most, your vision, your audience, your message. Her goal is always first and foremost to communicate information in a clear, concise method that is reader friendly, persuasive and inspires positive action.
